Aminophyllinum

Aminophyllinum – antiasthmatic means, spasmolytic, bronkhodilatiruyushchy and vazodilatiruyushchy action.

Form of release and structure

Aminophyllinum with the active agent of the same name is released in shape:

• Tablets on 350 mg. In packaging on 10 pieces;
• 2,4% of solution for injections. In ampoules on 10 ml;
• Rectal suppository on 360 mg.

Indications to use

According to the instruction, Aminophyllinum in the form of solution for injections is applied as means to monotherapy or an additional tool at a combination therapy, at treatment of the following diseases:

• Apnoea of newborns;
• Asthmatic status;
• Disturbances of cerebral circulation on ischemic type;
• Edematous syndrome of renal genesis;
• The left ventricular failure which is followed by disturbance of breath as Cheyn-Stokes and a bronchospasm;
• Acute and chronic heart failure.

Aminophyllinum in tablets and suppositories is appointed for treatment:

• Night apnoea;
• Hypertensia in a small circle of blood circulation;
• Bronkhoobstruktivny syndrome of various genesis, including bronchial asthma, a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
• Chronic and an acute heart failure (as a part of a combination therapy).

Contraindications

Use of Aminophyllinum is contraindicated:

• At heavy arterial hyper - or hypotensions;
• At a tachyarrhythmia;
• Against the background of a peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut in an aggravation phase;
• At hyperacid gastritis;
• Against the background of heavy abnormal liver functions and kidneys;
• At epilepsy;
• At a hemorrhagic stroke;
• At an eye retinal apoplexy;
• Along with ephedrine at children;
• To the feeding and pregnant women;
• At hypersensitivity to medicine components, and also to other derivatives of xanthine: to caffeine, pentoksifillin, theobromine.

At treatment of an apnoea of newborns drug moves via the nazogastralny probe. Injections of Aminophyllinum appoint to children from 3 years, a tablet – from 12 years.

Route of administration and dosage

The mode of dosing of Aminophyllinum is set by the doctor individually depending on age, indications, a clinical situation, the scheme and ways of introduction, and also nicotine addiction.

Intravenously Aminophyllinum is entered slowly (2 ml/minute) by 1-3 times a day on 4-6 mg/kg.

At intake the initial dosage of medicine makes 1 tablet a day divided into 2 parts (an interval between reception – 12 hours). The dose is raised by each 3 days, the optimum therapeutic effect will not be reached yet. The lowered dosages are applied against the background of a chronic heart and liver failure, an acute pneumonia, viral infections, and also at elderly people.

The adult rektalno appoint on 1 suppository to 2 times a day, to children at the rate of 7 mg/kg one-time, in days of at most 15 mg/kg.

Side effects

Use of Aminophyllinum can lead to development of disturbances from some systems of an organism, shown in most cases as:

• Tachycardia, heartbeat, arrhythmias, cardialgia, lowering of arterial pressure, increase in frequency of attacks of stenocardia;
• Sleeplessness, dizziness, uneasiness, irritability, headache, excitement, tremor;
• Skin itch, skin rash, fever;
• Vomiting, gastralgia, diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux, aggravation of a peptic ulcer;
• Strengthening of a diuresis, stethalgia, feeling of inflows to the person, a tachypnea, a hamaturia, an albuminuria, a hypoglycemia, the increased sweating.

At rectal use of Aminophyllinum the proctitis and irritation of a mucous membrane of a rectum can develop.

Against the background of long therapy the loss of appetite can be observed.

Expressiveness of side effects depends on the accepted dosage.

Special instructions

It is necessary to be careful at simultaneous use with anticoagulants, and also with other derivatives of purine or theophylline.

During treatment the use of a large number of kofeinsoderzhashchy drinks or products is not recommended.

Combined use with beta adrenoblockers and solution of glucose needs to be avoided.

Terms and storage conditions

According to the instruction, Aminophyllinum is released on doctor's orders.

Drug in the form of solution for injections is stored 3 years at a temperature of 5-20 °C, and tablets of 5 years at a temperature which is not exceeding 30 °C.
