Route of administration and dosage

To men for treatment appoint drug in a dosage of 50 and 100 mg.

At morbid sexual desire the dosage on 50 mg 2 times a day is appointed, if necessary it is possible to increase a dose to 100 mg 2 times a day. After achievement of therapeutic effect it is supported by means of the minimum dose – 25 mg which is accepted by 2 times a day.

At an inoperable prostate cancer a pill Androkur is taken 100 mg by 2-3 times a day (if the orkhiektomiya was not carried out) or on 100 mg 1-2 times a day (after an orkhiektomiya).

For treatment of women tablets in a dosage of 10 mg are used. Side effects

Special instructions

At patients with patholologically the raised sexual desire the simultaneous use of means with alcohol can reduce Androkur's action considerably.

During treatment by drug control of a picture of peripheral blood and function of a liver is necessary.

During therapy it is necessary to avoid the activity demanding high concentration of attention as means can influence psychomotor reactions, cause drowsiness and increased fatigue.
