Solution for intravenous (in/in) and intramuscular introduction (in oil): colourless transparent liquid in ampoules on 1 ml (on 5 pieces in a blister strip packaging, in a cardboard pack 1 or 2 packagings; 10 pieces in a cardboard pack or on 10 pieces in a blister strip packaging, in a cardboard pack 2 packagings; on 10 pieces in the blister packaging, in a cardboard pack 1 packaging).

Content of active agent:

Tablets: a difengidramina a hydrochloride, in 1 piece – 50 mg;
Solution: дифенгидрамин, in 1 ml – 10 mg.

Tablets: methyl cellulose water-soluble – 0,326 mg; lactoses monohydrate (sugar milk) – 75 mg, silicon dioxide colloid (aerosil) – 0,76 mg, starch corn – 23,154 mg, stearic acid – 0,76 mg;

Hemorrhagic vasculitis;

Contraindications

The stenosing ulcer of a duodenum and/or stomach;

Route of administration and dosage

Tablets: accept inside. Dosing for adult patients: as sleeping pill – on 50 mg before going to bed; treatment – on 30-50 mg 1-3 times a day, within 10-15 days. For children the single dose makes: aged till 1 year – 2-5 mg; from 2 to 5 years – 5-15 mg; from 6 to 12 years – 15-30 mg;
Solution for in/in and introductions in oil: to adult patients in oil of an injection in a dose from 50 to 250 mg, in/in kapelno – 20-50 mg. It is outwardly recommended to apply 1-2 times a day.

Side effects

Use of Dimedrol can become the reason of side effects:

Perhaps: drowsiness, short numbness of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity, decrease in attention, general weakness; children have a paradoxical development of sleeplessness, euphoria and irritability;
