Квикс – drug for treatment of cold.
Pharmacological action
Квикс – drug on the basis of water from the Atlantic Ocean, contains 2,6% of salt. Also in oceanic water there are curative microelements and minerals: manganese, silver, copper, gold which are known for the anti-allergenic, antiinflammatory, antimicrobic properties.
Квикс has antiedematous effect (changes osmotic pressure), clears a nasal cavity, effectively eliminates its congestion, humidifies nasal mucous, facilitates breath, has bactericidal effect, suppresses a local inflammation mucous a nose, raises a local host defense, recovers physiological functions of a nose.
Microelements which are a part of Kviks stimulate power exchange processes in an epithelium of nasal mucous, increase slime fluidifying.
Active agent of drug – oceanic water which in 100 ml of drug contains 84,6ml. The others 15,4ml – the purified water.
Release form
Produce spray of Kviks in a bottle in which there are 220 doses of oceanic water.
Indications to use
Use of Kviks is shown at rhinitis in a chronic, acute stage, a rinosinusita, rhinitis allergic, for prevention of acute respiratory diseases during seasonal flashes of incidence.
Application instruction of Kviks
Can use spray of Kviks adults, children, since three-months age.
To children appoint to do one-two local irrigations in each nostril with a break of 8 h (about 2-3 р / day).
Adults carry out one-three irrigations to each nostril with a break of 8 h (also about 2-3 р / day).
It does not cause perhaps prolonged use of Kviks, accustoming.
According to the instruction of Kviks for use of spray it is necessary to remove a protective cap, to make several trial pressing, having directed a nozzle aside, to carry out the necessary number of irrigations, after to wipe a nozzle with a napkin, to put on a protective cap.
Drug of Kviks in an open bottle is good half a year.
Side effects
Speak of Kviks well given about side effects is not present. At the very beginning of use there can be a burning in the nasal courses.
Contraindications to Kviks's use
Квикс according to the instruction it is contraindicated only in case of individual intolerance of sea water.
Pregnant women, the feeding women of Kviks can apply.
Drug can participate in complex treatment of cold, it does not interact with other medicines.
