Omez

Omez – synthetic antiulcerous drug.

Pharmacological action

Active agent of Omez has antiulcerous effect, reducing the level of basal and stimulated secretion. According to the instruction, therapeutic action of Omez does not depend by nature an irritant.

Omeza who is a part D домперидон has antiemetic effect, raises a tone of the lower esophageal sphincter, and also accelerates gastric emptying at delay of this process.

Form of release of Omez

Omez release in capsules of two types:

• The transparent colourless capsules with a pink lid containing 20 mg of an omeprazol;
• The white solid capsules with a violet lid Omez D containing 10 mg of an omeprazol and a domperidon.

Besides, Omez release in the form of lyophilisate for preparation of solution for infusions. Rolled into one – 40 mg of an omeprazol in the form of white powder or homogeneous porous flat cake.

Indications to Omez's use

According to the instruction Omez apply at:

• Peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
• The erosive cankers of a stomach and duodenum connected with reception of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
• Reflux esophagitis;
• Stressful ulcers;
• Zollingera-Ellison's syndrome.

As a part of complex therapy Omez's use is also shown at the erosive cankers of a stomach and duodenum associated with Helicobacter pylori.

Omez D is shown to use at treatment of dyspepsia and a gastroesophageal reflux which badly gives in to monotherapy by antagonists histamine H2 receptors or inhibitors of the protonew pump.

Contraindications

Omez has rather narrow circle of contraindications. It is not necessary to accept drug:

• At pregnancy;
• At children's age;
• In the period of a lactation;

Omez route of administration

The dosage and duration of use of Omez depends on a disease:

Side effects
