Prostaplant
Application instruction:
Prostaplant – the drug of a plant origin rendering selective antiinflammatory, antiedematous and anti-androgenic effect on prostate gland tissues. It is applied at functional disturbances of an urination owing to a prostate hyperplasia.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – capsules: gelatinous, an oval form, green color, with a seam; contents – oily weight from light brown till dark brown color, with a characteristic smell (on 10 or 20 pieces in blisters, in a pack of cardboard 3 or 6 blisters).
Active agent: dry extract of fruits of a serenoa (palm tree) creeping (10-14,3:1) – 320 mg in 1 capsule.
Auxiliary components: ethanol of 90% (extragent), глицерол, gelatin polysuccinate, dyes ferrous oxide black (E172), ferrous oxide yellow (E172) and patent blue V (E131).
Indications to use
Prostaplant – the drug used for elimination of the disturbances of an urination which developed owing to a benign hyperplasia of a prostate of I and II stages.
Contraindications
Means is contraindicated to patients with hypersensitivity to any component of drug.
With care it is necessary to apply in the presence of digestive tract diseases, in the anamnesis including.
Route of administration and dosage
Prostaplant it is necessary to accept inside: to swallow of capsules entirely and to wash down with a small amount of liquid.
Drug is appointed on 1 capsule of 1 times a day. The doctor determines duration of treatment and need of carrying out repeated courses individually depending on a clinical situation. The recommended therapy duration – is not less than 3 months.
Side effects
- From digestive tract: seldom – heartburn, nausea, a gastralgia (especially in case of administration of drug on an empty stomach);
- Others: allergic reactions.
Special instructions
Before Prostaplant's appointment it is necessary to conduct careful examination of the patient to be convinced that the hyperplasia of a prostate has high-quality character.
Medicinal interaction
Cases of clinically significant medicinal interactions of Prostaplant with other drugs are not known.
