Acro-osteolysis

Acro-osteolysis (acroosteolysis; Greek akros – the most remote, extreme, high + osteon – a bone + lisis – dissolution, destruction) – a lysis (disturbance of cellular structure, dissolution of cells) of a bone tissue of distal departments of extremities, preferential fingers. Process proceeds without substitution of an affected area other fabric. The acro-osteolysis usually develops at a system scleroderma, is more rare – at a pseudorheumatism.
