Allergen

Allergen (allergenum; Greek allos – another, other + Greek ergon – action + Greek - genes – generating):

  • Substance of the gaptenny or antigenic nature which is capable to sensibilize an organism and to cause an allergy;
  • The drug made of exogenous allergens. It is applied to performing treatment and diagnosis of allergic diseases. At its correct use, as a rule, does not cause allergic reactions and a sensitization of an organism.

Emit allergen:

  • Bacterial (bacteriale) – a component of a bacterial cell, a product of its life activity or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Household – to which the person contacts in life (dust, six animals), or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Virus (virale) – a virus component, a product of its interaction with a cell or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Gelmintny (helminthicum) – decomposition product or exchange of helminths or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Fungal (mycoticum) – a fungus component, a product of its life activity or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Diagnostic (diagnosticum) – applied to diagnosis of diseases;
  • Inhalation – getting to an organism through a respiratory organs;
  • Infectious (infectiosum) – the allergen which is a component of the causative agent of an infectious disease, a product of its life activity or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Contact (contactil) – getting to an organism through a conjunctiva, a mucous membrane of a mouth or skin;
  • Medicinal (medicamentosum) – medicine or its any component;
  • Medical (medicale) – applied when carrying out specific desensitization at allergic diseases;
  • Microbic (microbicum) – a microorganism component, a product of its life activity or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Food (alimentarium) – a component of foodstuff or the drug which is specially made of it;
  • Industrial – the substance which is a part of a product of industrial production;
  • Protozoan (protozoale) – the organism component relating to type of protozoa, a product of its life activity or the drug which is specially made of them;
  • Professional (professionale) – to which the person contacts in professional activity;
  • Dust (pulvereum) – a component of house dust or the drug which is specially made of it;
  • Pyltsovy (pollinis) – a component of pollen of a plant or the drug which is specially made of it;
  • Exogenous (exogenum; Xing: экзоаллерген) – gets to an organism from the outside;
  • Epidermal (epidermale) – a component of epidermis / hair of animals, epidermis of the person or the drug which is specially made of them.
