Amoebas

Amoebas (Amoebida; Greek amoibe – change) – group of protozoa of the class Sarcodina which combines unicells. Their characteristic difference is movement by means of pseudopodiums and change of a shape of a body. Some types of amoebas can cause diseases of animals and the person.
