Antihistamines

Antihistamines (Greek anti-– against; opposite property, action, situation + histaminum – a histamine (biogenic connection – a mediator of allergic reactions of immediate type, the regulator of many physiological processes); synonym: antihistaminic means) – medicines, partially or completely blocking physiological action of a histamine (Suprastinum, Dimedrol, Diazolinum, etc.). Antihistamines are applied, for example, at treatment of allergic reactions and diseases.
