Broun-Sekara syndrome (Ch. E. Brown-Sequard, French neuropathologist and physiologist, 1817-1894; synonym: a syndrome of half damage of a spinal cord) – the symptom complex which is noted at defeat of one of half of diameter of a spinal cord which is shown in the form of the central paralysis (paresis), losses of vibration and muscular and proprioceptive sensitivity on the party of defeat, and loss of temperature and painful sensitivity – on opposite.
