General characteristic of a disease

The salpingitis is the gynecologic disease caused by an inflammation of one or both fallopian pipes. At the combined inflammatory process in uterine tubes, sheaves and ovaries the disease is called a salpingo-oophoritis or an adnexitis.

Development of a salpingitis is provoked most often by a pathogenic bacterial infection. Infection, as a rule, ascending: from a uterus in a fallopiyeva a pipe, and then in ovaries or the copular device.

The inflammatory exudate collecting at a salpingitis leads to scarring of fabrics and partial or full obstruction of fallopian pipes. As a result of this pathological process the woman can become sterile.

At an acute salpingitis in fallopian pipes of the woman purulent or serous cavities can be formed. They can serve as the reason of abscess of an ovary, spread of an infection to a peritoneum and to provoke an inflammation of bodies of a small pelvis and interintestinal abscess.

Chronic salpingitis – one of the most frequent reasons of female infertility. Chronic inflammatory process in fallopian pipes is started by the infections which are transmitted at sexual intercourse: ureaplasmas, chlamydias, mycoplasmas, trichomonads, etc. Possible sources of an infection at a chronic salpingitis also – contraceptive spirals, abortion, an abortion, any diagnostic and medical actions in a uterus.

Salpingitis symptoms

The main symptoms of a salpingitis at an initial stage of a disease are pain and frustration of an urination. The woman with symptoms of a salpingitis feels a nagging pain in the bottom of a stomach and frequent false desires to an urination.

At the following stage of a disease of a symptom of a salpingitis there is an emergence of a plentiful purulent vaginal secret. During sexual intercourse the woman feels severe pain. The laparoscopic method of an intake of material at an acute salpingitis is the most informative. Its reliability more than 78%. However, because of high cost and a travmatichost of this method it is applied only in the most hard cases of an acute salpingitis.

Treatment of a salpingitis

Tactics of treatment of a salpingitis depends on a stage and character of a course of a disease.

The early beginning of antibacterial treatment at a salpingitis of an acute form allows to achieve considerable results for 7-10 day and to prevent regeneration of a disease in a chronic salpingitis.

Independent treatment of a salpingitis of any form is inadmissible. It can lead to irreversible organic changes in fallopian pipes, to need of surgical intervention and to difficult cured infertility.

Surgical treatment of a salpingitis is applied at the new growths found in fallopian pipes whose structure is similar to a tumor. Use of surgical treatment of a salpingitis is necessary also at commissural processes in fallopian pipes and desire of the woman to become pregnant or in case of formation of a hydrosalpinx. The last represents accumulation of liquid between commissures of a uterine tube.

Most often in surgical treatment of a salpingitis laparoscopic operations are applied. Thanks to them practically all pathologies of fallopian pipes can be eliminated. At the same time this type of operation does not provoke formation of new commissures, малотравматичен and is esthetic. At minilaparoscopic treatment of a salpingitis on a stomach of the woman only several punctures are made.

During operation the resection of fabrics of a pipe with commissures is carried out, the purulent secret is removed, disinfection of walls of fallopian pipes is carried out, the drainage is established.

After laparoscopic treatment of a salpingitis the woman for the third day can already leave a hospital. The rehabilitation period lasts about 2 weeks. However the woman is recommended to refuse within a month sex life and 1 times in 3 months to undergo gynecologic inspection.
