Useful properties of garnet

Garnets – fruits of a garnet tree, eurysynusic in tropics and subtropics. The garnet season in Central Asia and in the Caucasus usually begins at the beginning of October and proceeds until the end of November.

In cosmetology juice from garnet is used for treatment of acne rash, and also for removal of freckles and nevus pigmentosus. For whitening of face skin it is possible to use the mask prepared from a teaspoon of garnet juice and sour cream. The mask is put for 10-15 minutes then wash away warm water.

Contraindications

Despite the mass of useful properties, grenades has some contraindications. So, it is contraindicated to eat garnet at a peptic ulcer of a stomach and gastritis with a hyperoxemia. At these diseases it is possible to use only well ripened sweet fruits in small amounts. Also garnet is contraindicated at hemorrhoids, cracks in an anus and chronic locks. With the lowered arterial pressure garnet juice is recommended to drink not more often than several weekly.
