Kalyminum of 60 N

Kalyminum of 60 N – cholinesterase inhibitor.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – tablets: an oblong biconvex shape, with dividing risky on one of the parties, have white color, existence of roughnesses is allowed (on 100 pieces in glass bottles of dark color, in a cardboard pack 1 bottle).

Active ingredient – pyridostigmine bromide, in 1 tablet – 60 mg.

Auxiliary components: starch corn, cellulose microcrystallic, поливидон K25, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloid, glutaminic acid a hydrochloride, the water purified.

Indications to use

• Myasthenia;
• Myasthenic syndrome;
• Atonic locks;
• Postoperative atony of intestines;
• Disturbances of bladder emptying after the delivery and gynecologic operations.

Besides, use of drug is shown for elimination of action of not depolarizing kurarepodobny means.

Contraindications

• Simultaneous use with succinylcholine, dekametoniy and other depolarizing muscle relaxants;
• Iritis;
• Bronchial asthma;
• Chronic obstructive bronchitis;
• Mechanical intestinal impassability;
• Myatonia;
• Obstruction of urinary and bilious tract;
• Shock in the postoperative period;
• Spastic conditions of bodies of the digestive tract (DT);
• Period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• Age up to 18 years;
• Hypersensitivity to drug components.

With care appoint the patient at: a renal failure, arterial hypotension, a peptic ulcer of a stomach, dekompensirovanny heart failure, an acute myocardial infarction, bradycardia, a diabetes mellitus, parkinsonism, cholelithiasis for lack of obstruction, an urolithiasis for lack of obstruction, a hyperthyroidism, a liver failure; during the period after surgical intervention on a GIT.

Route of administration and dosage

Pill is taken inside, washing down with water.

The dose of drug and the period of treatment at a myasthenia is appointed by the doctor individually, considering disease severity and reaction of the patient to therapy.

The recommended daily dosing: at the first symptoms of a disease – on 30-60 mg 1-2 times a day; when progressing a disease – on 60-180 mg (1-3 tablets) 2-4 times a day. The daily dose of drug should not exceed 720 mg or 12 tablets.

Patients with diseases of kidneys should appoint lower doses of drug as pyridostigmine bromide is removed from an organism in not changed look generally by kidneys. Therapeutic the effective dose is selected individually depending on effect of drug.

Side effects

Use of Kalyminum of 60 N can cause side effects:

• From cardiovascular system: at reception of high doses – a lowering of arterial pressure, development of bradycardia;
• From the alimentary system: nausea, vomiting, the raised salivation, diarrhea, an abdominal pain which skhvatkoobrazny character is caused by a high peristaltics of intestines;
• From a nervous system: spasms of skeletal muscles, muscular tremor, disorders of accommodation and muscular weakness;
• From respiratory system: strengthening of secretion of bronchial glands;
• Others: the increased perspiration and dacryagogue, allergic reactions, frequent desires on an urination, it is very rare – skin rash.

Special instructions

At use of Kalyminum of 60 N alcohol intake is strictly forbidden.

In case of the admission of the next administration of drug, does not follow in time determined for the following reception to accept a double dose.

During treatment by the patient it is recommended to be careful at control of vehicles and mechanisms, occupation potentially dangerous types of activity demanding concentration of attention and high speed of psychomotor reactions.

Medicinal interaction

Effect of atropine weakens m - cholinomimetic effect of drug (hypersecretion and bradycardia), except for bromide pyridostigmine influence on skeletal muscles.

Simultaneous use of antiepileptic and protivoparkinsonichesky means, ganglioblokator, m-holinoblokatorov, quinidine, procaineamide, tricyclic antidepressants, local anesthetics reduces expressiveness of action of Kalyminum of 60 N.

Drug strengthens effect of morphine and its derivatives, the depolarizing muscle relaxants, barbiturates.

Pyridostigmine bromide is incompatible with ethanol.

Terms and storage conditions

To store at a temperature up to 25 °C. To protect from children.

Period of validity – 3 years, after packaging opening – 6 months.
