Popularity of an oat diet is explained by its efficiency and the sparing impact on bodies of the alimentary system.

As a part of oats there are complex carbohydrates – an excellent energy source for an organism. Unlike simple carbohydrates (contain in flour and sweet products), which are quickly acquired and used, being partially postponed in fat, complex carbohydrates are digested much longer and deliver energy to an organism for a long time. Thus, the use of oats in food promotes long feeling of saturation, lack of hunger and at the same time does not lead to increase in weight.

The essence of an oat diet consists in the use of porridge during each meal, and it is necessary to eat so much porridge to satisfy feeling of hunger. Porridge can be cooked on water or on milk. Between meals vegetables and fruit, but in small amounts are resolved.

That porridge did not become boring too quickly, it is possible to alternate ways of preparation of porridge: one day to cook porridge on water, another – on milk.

For bigger efficiency of an oat diet it is recommended to carry out before its beginning clarification of an organism by means of rice. For this purpose rice (4 tablespoons) is filled in with water (1 liter) and left for the night. In the morning rice is cooked on weak fire within an hour, rice kissel will not turn out yet. It is drunk and then within 5 hours abstain from any food. After that it is possible to use usual products, excepting greasy, sweet and flour food. In 5 hours prior to a dream only pure still water is allowed. Next day the oat diet begins.

Oat grains contain starch which, getting into digestive tract, envelops walls of bodies, working as soft wound healing means. Besides, porridge contains cellulose which promotes purgation. Grits are vitamin-rich also microelements.

Growing thin on an oat diet are almost saved from painful feeling of hunger, thanks to it failures are very rare.

The diet of an oat diet does not demand expensive products, and preparation of porridge does not take a lot of time.

Shortcomings and contraindications

It is impossible to call the uniform menu of an oat diet balanced, besides it quickly bothers therefore it is not recommended to sit on it longer than 7 days.

Contraindication to an oat diet is tendency to locks. It is not recommended to keep to a diet to pregnant women and the feeding women, children and teenagers (without appointment of the doctor).

People with chronic diseases before an oat diet should consult with the attending physician.

What products are resolved?

Treat the resolved products of a diet: porridge (from grain or flakes), apples, cherry, plum, strawberry, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, dried fruits (prunes, raisin, dried apricots), honey. If the diet is kept longer than three days, it is possible to add butter (occasionally), the fat-free kefir, nuts and sunflower seeds.

As drinks it is allowed to use still mineral water, green and black tea.

What products are prohibited?

The list of the prohibited products includes all those which are not specified as resolved. It is necessary to minimize the salt use, and completely to exclude sugar from a diet.

It is simple to prepare a main course of an oat diet. Grits (4 tablespoons) and milk or water (1 liter) will be necessary for porridge. Grits are poured out in the boiling water (milk) and cooked to readiness. The received volume of porridge is divided into 3-5 portions which use during the day.
