Ascomycetes

Ascomycetes (Ascomycetes; Greek askos – a bag, a bag + mykes – a mushroom; synonym: mushrooms ascigerous) – a class of mushrooms with disputes and a multicellular mycelium which is formed in special bodies – aska (bags). Mold fungi (including producers of penicillin), yeast, separate edible mushrooms (lines, truffles, morels) and others belong to ascomycetes. Some of types can be causative agents of mycoses of the person.
